The Emerson A-AS series suction line accumulators are available for systems through 28.5 tons
(R22) nominal capacity and are applicable with CFC, HCFC, HFC refrigerants.
Key features:
Designed to operate in a range of +40°F to -40°F evaporator temperature
Fusible plug available on larger diameter units
Solid copper fittings for easy brazing
Corrosion resistant epoxy powder paint finish
Inlet deflector blends refrigerant flow to prevent internal splashing and aids in the collection of
refrigerant oil in the bottom of the accumulator
Internal orifice with strainer for optimum oil return
Maximum working pressure
3 – 4” diameter: 300 psig
5 – 6” diameter: 575 psig
Fusible Plug: 430°F
